Getting started
Quickstart
From signup to optimized media in a few minutes.
1. Create your account
Sign up at app.inverity.ai with an email and password, or continue with Google. If you signed up with email, confirm the verification link before continuing.
Every new account starts on the free Foundation plan, which includes 2 GB of media volume per month. That is enough to optimize a few hundred typical web images, or a handful of short videos, while you evaluate.
See Create your account for the detail.
2. Connect a source
In the dashboard, open Connectors and choose your platform.
- One-click sign-in (OAuth): HubSpot, Webflow, and Contentful. Sign in and approve access — there's no token to copy.
- Embedded app: Shopify. Install Inverity from your store's admin.
- Paste a token: Sanity, Storyblok, WordPress, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, and all DAMs. The connect screen tells you exactly where to create the token in your platform.
Every platform has its own setup guide — see CMS connectors and DAM connectors.
3. Choose what to optimize
Pick the folders, collections, or products you want Inverity to watch. New media added to a watched location is optimized automatically from that point on.
To process the media that's already there, run optimization on the folder or collection from the dashboard. See Choose what to optimize.
Start narrow
Point Inverity at one folder first. You'll see real savings numbers on content you recognise, which makes it much easier to judge whether to widen the scope or change your quality profile.
4. Review your results
As assets are processed, the dashboard shows the original size, the optimized size, and the percentage saved for each one.
You'll also see assets marked skipped — not smaller. That is expected and correct: it means the optimizer could not beat your original at equivalent quality, so it kept your original rather than ship a worse file. Skips don't count against your monthly volume. See Results and savings.
What happens to my files?
Inverity processes a copy. Depending on your settings, it either replaces the original with the optimized version or stores the optimized version alongside it. Your originals are never discarded without a smaller, quality-checked replacement, and DAM masters are kept as new versions rather than overwritten.
