Storyblok
Connect Storyblok with an API token.
What you'll need
- The Storyblok space you want to optimize
- An API token with permission to read and manage assets
Create the token
Create the token in your Storyblok space settings, with the access level needed to read and write assets — read-only tokens will connect but nothing can be written back.
Name it Inverity so it's identifiable later.
Connect
- In the Inverity dashboard, open Connectors and choose Storyblok.
- Paste the token and identify the space.
- Choose the asset folders you want watched.
What gets optimized
Images in your Storyblok asset library, in the folders you select. Stories referencing those assets keep working — the asset is replaced, not the reference.
Good to know
- Spaces are separate. Connect the space you deliver from.
- Existing assets need a run. Watching a folder covers new uploads; run optimization on the folder to process what's there.
- Storyblok's image service still applies on top of the optimized source.
Disconnecting
Remove the connector in Inverity, then revoke the token in your Storyblok space settings.
Troubleshooting
- "Token is invalid" — check the token's access level; it needs to write assets, not just read them.
- Assets in other folders weren't touched — that's correct. Only watched folders are processed.
See Connector errors.
