HubSpot
Connect HubSpot with a one-click sign-in.
HubSpot uses OAuth, so there's no token to create or store. You sign in to HubSpot, approve access, and you're connected.
Before you start
You need a HubSpot user with permission to install integrations on the account you want to connect. If your HubSpot is administered by someone else, they'll need to run the authorization step — it can't be delegated with a pasted credential.
Connect
- In the Inverity dashboard, open Connectors and choose HubSpot.
- Sign in to HubSpot when prompted, and select the account to connect if you have access to more than one.
- Review and approve the access Inverity requests.
- Back in Inverity, choose the file manager folders you want watched.
What gets optimized
The images in your HubSpot file manager, in the folders you select. New files uploaded to a watched folder are optimized automatically.
Optimized files replace the originals in place, so the images already used across your landing pages, emails, and blog posts keep resolving without anyone re-inserting them.
Good to know
- Existing files need a run. Watching a folder covers new uploads. To process what's already in it, run optimization on the folder from the dashboard.
- HubSpot caches aggressively. Content served through HubSpot's CDN may take time to reflect the new files. See Delivery and caching.
- Emails already sent are unaffected. Optimization changes the hosted file; it doesn't retroactively alter a message in someone's inbox.
Disconnecting
Remove the connector in Inverity, then uninstall the Inverity integration from HubSpot's connected apps. Assets already optimized stay as they are.
Troubleshooting
- The sign-in loops or fails — you may not have permission to install integrations on that HubSpot account.
- Connected, but nothing happens — you haven't selected any folders to watch.
