Webflow

Connect Webflow with a one-click sign-in.

Webflow uses OAuth, so there's no token to create or store.

Before you start

You need a Webflow account with access to the site you want to connect, and permission to authorize apps on it.

Connect

  1. In the Inverity dashboard, open Connectors and choose Webflow.
  2. Sign in to Webflow and authorize Inverity.
  3. Select the site you want to connect.
  4. Choose the asset folders you want watched.

What gets optimized

Images in your Webflow site's asset library, in the folders you select. Optimized files replace the originals, so the images already placed on your pages and in your CMS collections keep working.

Good to know

  • Publish after optimization. Webflow serves the published version of your site. Depending on how your assets are referenced, you may need to publish for visitors to receive the optimized files.
  • Existing assets need a run. Watching a folder covers new uploads; run optimization on the folder to process what's already there.
  • Designs and layouts are untouched. Dimensions don't change, so nothing reflows.

Disconnecting

Remove the connector in Inverity, then revoke the Inverity authorization in your Webflow account settings.

Troubleshooting

  • The site doesn't appear in the list — your Webflow account may not have access to it, or the authorization was granted to a different workspace.
  • Optimized images aren't live — publish the site, then check your cache. See Delivery and caching.
