Team and roles

Invite teammates and control access.

Invite your team from Settings → Team in the dashboard. Everyone you invite joins the same workspace and shares its connected sources and plan.

Inviting teammates

  1. Open Settings → Team. Select Invite and enter your teammate's email.
  2. Choose a role that fits what they need to do (see below).
  3. They accept. Your teammate gets an email invite and joins after signing in.

If someone doesn't receive the invite, check spam and confirm the address. See Sign-in and access.

Roles

Roles range from view-only access up to full administration.

  • Higher roles can manage connected sources, change settings, and manage billing.
  • Lower roles can view results without changing configuration.

Assign the least access someone needs. In practice most people who want to see savings numbers — stakeholders, content teams, agency clients — need view access and nothing more.

Who should have admin

Keep this list short. An admin can:

  • add and remove connected sources, which means reaching the tokens that grant access to your CMS or DAM
  • change quality profiles, which changes what happens to production assets
  • change the plan and billing
  • add and remove team members

Everyone in that list should have two-factor authentication turned on. It's the difference between a compromised password being an inconvenience and it being access to your content platforms.

Removing someone

Open Settings → Team, find the member, and remove them. Their access ends immediately.

Removing a person doesn't affect the connected sources they set up. Those keep working, because the connector holds its own credential rather than borrowing the person's session.

But check who owns the platform-side token

If a connector was authorized under a leaving person's own account in your CMS or DAM — rather than a service account — revoking their access in that platform will break the connector, even though removing them from Inverity didn't. Re-create the credential under a service account before they leave. See Tokens and permissions.

Does adding people cost more?

No. Plans are priced on volume, not seats. Invite as many people as you need.

Agencies and multiple clients

If you manage media for several clients, keep them in separate workspaces rather than mixing their sources in one. Separate workspaces mean separate connectors, separate usage meters, and no chance of a client's assets appearing in another client's results. Contact us if you're running several workspaces and want them handled together.
